Accumulation tables are specialized conveyor systems designed to store both filled and empty products, depending on their placement along the production line. They are widely used in the beverage and canned goods industries. Based on their operating principle, accumulation tables are divided into FIFO and LIFO types.

LIFO accumulation tables—commonly referred to as bidirectional tables—work by collecting products from the production line and reintroducing them according to the “Last In, First Out” principle, meaning the last product to enter the table is the first to return to the line.

FIFO accumulation tables operate on the opposite principle: the last product to enter the table is also the last to be reintroduced into the line.

FIFO tables are also known as dynamic accumulation tables.
