Today, we\u2019re proud to present two pairs of stainless-steel cleated belt elevators, designed and built for a major player in the food industry. Their purpose is to feed a multihead scale located above a cartoner. <\/p>\n\n
Since these elevators are intended for the food sector, we placed strong emphasis on safety and hygiene.<\/p>\n\n
First, the entire structure is made of stainless steel. To ensure the safety of the final consumer, we selected an FDA-certified polyurethane belt\u2014suitable for food processing. Throughout the conveying path, the product comes into contact exclusively with this material, which is also used for the sidewalls and cleats. Additionally, the belt and its components are fully detectable by metal detectors, providing an extra layer of safety. <\/p>\n\n
Similarly, the gearbox oil used in the drive system is food-grade.<\/p>\n\n
The entire structure features easily openable guards, making cleaning operations quick and straightforward. These guards are equipped with safety microswitches to protect operators during maintenance. <\/p>\n\n
At the base of the structure, a scraper removes any production residues to keep the system clean.<\/p>\n\n
